டிரைடெண்ட் ஆர்ட்ஸ் நிறுவனம் தனது 21-வது படைப்பாக ‘மேரிகோல்ட்’ திரைப்படத்தை அறிவித்துள்ளது. ஆர். ரவீந்திரன் தயாரிக்கும் இப்படத்தை பிரியன் ராஜேந்திரன் இயக்குகிறார். சுதர்சன் இணை தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆவார்.
திருநெல்வேலி, தூத்துக்குடி பின்னணியில் நடைபெறும் விறுவிறுப்பான கதையான இதில் ‘செந்தமிழ்ப் பாட்டு’, ‘சின்ன மாப்ளே’, ‘மிஸ்டர் மெட்ராஸ்’ ஆகிய படங்களில் இணைந்து நடித்த பிரபு மற்றும் சுகன்யா ஜோடி 31 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு இணைகிறார்கள். ரக்ஷன் மற்றும் நம்ரிதாவும் முக்கிய வேடங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர்.
தென் தமிழகத்தின் பின்னணியில், திருநெல்வேலி மற்றும் தூத்துக்குடி நகரங்களை சேர்ந்த கதை மாந்தர்களுக்கு இடையே நடைபெறும் சுவாரஸ்யமான போட்டியையும் அலாதியான வாழ்வியலையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டு ஒரு உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான குடும்பக் கதையாக இத்திரைப்படம் அமைகிறது.

Trident Arts has announced its 21st production, titled ‘Mary Gold’. The film is produced by R. Ravindran and directed by Priyan Rajendran. Sudharsan is the Co-Producer.
Set against the backdrop of Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi, ‘Mary Gold’ is an engaging and fast-paced story that marks the reunion of the popular on-screen pair Prabhu and Sukanya after 31 years. The duo had previously starred together in films such as ‘Senthamizh Paattu’, ‘Chinna Mappillai’ and ‘Mr. Madras’. Rakshan and Namritha also play important roles in the film.
Set in southern Tamil Nadu, the film revolves around the intriguing rivalry between characters from Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi, while exploring their distinctive lifestyles. At its heart, ‘Mary Gold’ is an emotional family drama with an engaging narrative.
The film features Singampuli, Vadivukkarasi, Imaan Annachi, Vivek Prasanna, Stalin and Vadivel Murugan in important roles.
Mallikarjun is the cinematographer, while Siddhu Kumar composes the music. R. Nirmal handles the editing. The technical crew includes G. Durai Raj as Art Director, Deepu M as Choreographer and Abishek Srinivasan as Stunt Director. Sanjay Vijayraghavan is the Creative Producer.
